Note: This is a taller Airform and would work very well for a two story school. It will be much more difficult to build than the smaller domes. It will require forming of a second floor. The second floor would need to be supported as well. Note that this is a half sphere. The forming of this will be less complex than the 50’x24’ with an oblate ellipse.
| Always consider very carefully before adding second floors to domes. There is a lot of wasted space for stairways and in many areas they are not code compliant. The cost of forming and pouring a second floor is often more than the space gained. |
